Join us for 5 days of studying God’s Word while enjoying His creation via Mountain Bike. Nearby off-road trails provide challenging hills and other obstacles to learn new riding skills or further develop existing ones. Trails are easily accessible from the camp, only a short ride or short drive away. Bicycle safety, riding skills, tire pressures, weight distribution, and maintenance topics will be offered. Mountain Bike Camp will also participate in all BSCC activities and of course be Christ focused.

Theme: The Scary, Weird, and Gross Stories from the Bible
Using some often lesser-known bible stories which can grab our attention, help us know God in greater ways, and bolster our faith for life. Curriculum will be used to point campers toward a better relationship with Jesus, culminating in comparing symbolism from Revelation, the end of the Bible … with what we can expect at the end of our earthly lives. To put this in terms campers should be able to appreciate, Mountain Bike groups often select a leader on the trails while others follow. Similarly, we identify Jesus as our leader (Lord, Savior) as we commit to follow Him.
Mountian Bike camp targets 6 th -12 th grade boys and girls who enjoy off-road mountian biking or desire to get involved in the sport. Helmets are required and must be worn at all times when riding. Protective gloves, padded riding shorts, and bike cleaning supplies may also enhance the riding experience. Campers are expected to clean and inspect their own bikes before arriving at camp. Local bike shops can provide tune-ups for a nominal fee. Arriving with a properly functioning bike will amplify a positive camp experience. Remaining maintenance issues and/or a non-functional bike carries the likelihood of seriously detracting from camper-enjoyment!
Joe Etienne has been mountian biking since 1997 and enjoys competing and riding to maintain health and on and off-road biking. One of Joe's goals is to support cycling advocacy by teaching campers how to perform tune-ups and maintenance, so if there are any lingering bike issues, he will attempt to address them together. If you have any questions about camp, mountian biking, or how to establish or strengthen your relationship with Jesus, feel free to contact Joe Etienne at (937) 801-8167. He looks forward to meeting, studying, learning together, and riding with this year’s participants during Mountian Bike Camp.
